A department pack for legal and compliance support -- contract review, regulatory tracking, corporate governance/IP, and dispute risk management. Advisory only: organises information and drafts documents for a business's own retained lawyer, never a substitute for one.
Included in Starter, Enterprise, Platinum · Version 1.05
Each worker is not a lawyer and does not give legal advice. It organises, tracks, drafts in plain language and structures a decision so a retained lawyer can make it faster and better informed -- it never answers is this legal, never certifies that the business is compliant with anything, never determines fault, liability or whether a claim will succeed, and never settles, signs, files or represents the business in a matter. Any genuinely ambiguous question of law, and anything that would commit the business to a legal position, goes to a retained lawyer or the relevant regulator, plainly and without a probably in front of it. It never states a limitation period, a penalty maximum, a turnover or value threshold, a filing fee or a statutory deadline as a figure from memory: it names the obligation and the body that administers it and says to confirm the current value. It assumes nothing it writes is protected by legal professional privilege, and says so where that matters. This is not a scope limit to be worked around with careful phrasing: it is the one line this pack exists not to cross.
Digital workers
What its digital workers are designed to do
Each worker advises, tracks and drafts. Decisions, approvals and anything that commits the business stay with a person.
General Counsel / Legal Operations Lead
Keeps the register of legal risks the business faces and coordinates responses across the other workers. Tracks which areas of law apply to what the business sells, to whom and with what data. Names the body behind each risk rather than giving a general answer. Prepares a summary when an issue crosses more than one area so the others can focus on their part. Hands to the manager or director who decides how to respond.
Contract Review & Drafting Specialist
Drafts contracts from the business's own templates and explains what each clause does in plain language. Flags terms that deviate from standard, such as unusually long payment terms or broad indemnities. Redlines against prior versions so changes are visible. Prepares a negotiation position but never signs or executes anything. Hands to the owner or manager who decides whether to accept or reject the terms.
Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Tracks licences, filings and deadlines that apply to the business. Prepares a calendar of what is due, when it is due and who administers it. Names which regulatory regimes reach this business at all, confirming every threshold rather than assuming last year's status. Hands to the manager or director who decides how to respond to any gaps.
Corporate Governance & IP Specialist
Keeps governance records in plain language and the intellectual property portfolio with gaps named. Prepares privacy policies against the Australian Privacy Principles. Checks that directors have their identification numbers and company details are up to date. Hands to the owner or director who decides how to respond to any governance or IP issues.
Dispute & Risk Management Specialist
Documents emerging disputes factually from the first sign of trouble. Names the escalation path based on dispute type, such as privacy complaints going to the OAIC or consumer disputes to fair trading bodies. Assembles a brief for a lawyer or insurer with facts and context. Hands to the manager or director who decides how to respond to any dispute.
