Vivotek has built its reputation since 2000 on IP camera engineering out of Taiwan, with particular strength in panoramic and fisheye optics — 180°/360° single-lens coverage — alongside conventional fixed and PTZ H.265/H.264 camera lines, video servers and central management software. It became part of Delta Electronics' Building Automation Business Group in 2017, giving it backing from one of Asia's larger industrial electronics groups.
For a technician, Vivotek's panoramic/fisheye range is a practical differentiator on jobs needing single-camera wide-area coverage — car parks, retail floors, open-plan offices — instead of stitching multiple fixed units together, and its H.265 lines target the same bandwidth and storage savings as competing platforms.
