Eagle Eye Cloud VMS
A true cloud VMS — bridge-based camera onboarding and centralised cloud recording, now part of Brivo’s security platform.
Eagle Eye Cloud VMS is a genuinely cloud-native video management system rather than a hosted version of an on-premises VMS. Existing IP cameras connect through an on-site Eagle Eye Bridge or CMVR appliance, which encrypts and deduplicates footage, buffers recordings during internet outages, and manages bandwidth before streaming to Eagle Eye's cloud data centres for storage, search and remote access. That architecture matters on multi-site estates: there's no on-premises NVR to maintain or patch at each location, and footage stays retrievable even if a site's hardware is stolen or destroyed.
The platform is built on an open, documented REST API and includes AI-driven natural-language and appearance-based video search, automated licence-plate recognition and face matching. Eagle Eye Networks merged with access-control vendor Brivo in December 2025; the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS product continues to be sold, now as part of Brivo's combined security platform.
